San Francisco's Finest Small-Batch Roastery
Coffee, crafted with patience & fire.
Ethically sourced from the world's finest growing regions. Roasted to order in small batches and shipped within 24 hours — because freshness is everything.
Our Story
Roasted with intention,
shared with purpose.
Oak & Bean was born in a modest San Francisco garage in 2012 — a single roaster, a notebook of temperature curves, and an obsession with what a coffee bean can become. Fourteen years later, we still roast in small batches because scale is the enemy of quality.
Every bean we source is direct-trade, every roast profile is hand-tuned, and every bag is shipped within 24 hours of leaving the drum. We don't believe in shortcuts. We believe in the craft.
"The best coffee isn't made by machines. It's made by people who care enough to wait for the perfect first crack."
— Marcus Chen, Head Roaster & FounderOur Coffees
Small batches, big character.
Every roast is a relationship — with the farmer, the bean, and the moment you take your first sip.
The Heritage Blend
Ethiopia • Colombia
Dark chocolate, dried cherry, brown sugar. Full-bodied and comforting — our signature since day one.
Yirgacheffe
Ethiopia, Single Origin
Bright citrus, jasmine, raw honey. A luminous cup from the birthplace of coffee.
Midnight Roast
Sumatra • Brazil
Smoke, toasted walnut, cacao nibs. Deep and intense — for those who walk on the dark side.
Costa Rica Reserve
Costa Rica, Microlot
Green apple, caramel, honeydew. Honey-processed and incredibly smooth.

Keep your beans in the sealed bag we ship them in, stored in a cool, dark cupboard. Avoid the fridge or freezer — moisture and temperature fluctuations degrade flavor. For best results, grind just before brewing.
